Sephi Bergerson is a freelance photographer and author with extensive commercial background in both advertising and studio work. After moving to India in 2002, he began taking up documentary assignments for a range of respected international NGOs and publications. Here his ability to connect with local communities while covering sensitive issues saw him create his unique photographic identity that combines his studio discipline with his photojournalistic experience and integrity.

His strengths lie in understanding a client’s creative vision and delivering projects on time and budget and to a high standard. Comfortable under pressure, he is an energetic and dedicated, creative professional with great communication skills.

Bergerson’s first book, STREET FOOD OF INDIA, was published in 2009 and has won international acclaim, mentioned in The New York Times list of best cookbooks of 2010 and nominated for Best in the World in the Gourmand Cook Book Awards in Paris 2010.

His second book, BEHIND THE INDIAN VEIL - A JOURNEY THROUGH WEDDINGS IN INDIA was published in India on August 2015, and launched in New Delhi by high profile politician and author Dr Shashi Tharoor.

Other book projects include TRIUMPH OVER POLIO for UNICEF, HORN PLEASE – Trucks And Trucking in India for SafeExpress, ITALIAN KHANNA for Ritu Dalmia / Penguin Random House India, and more.
